Question!!!
Hello!! I'm Shiori(she/her), originally from Japan, but I currently live in NY. I've been listening to your podcast before I moved to NY, and it's super helpful to improve my English skills! I recommend this podcast to all my Japanese friends around me, and everyone loves it! I have a question about using the idiom “in a way.” I've heard of it many times within your conversation, for example, from the episode 2052, “This is kind of like very in fashion IN A WAY because of this moment we’re living in the world.” I looked up several dictionaries, but I just can't seem to get the nuances of the words. Could you please explain how and when you put this idiom in your sentences naturally? Thank you in advance!! Love you!!Read full review »
