“Listening to episode 35, which has cemented and put into words the hesitation I’ve had in outright loving this podcast. The judgement of the nurse in this episode is evident and unfortunately the hosts AND the guest are majorly lacking empathy for the individual in this situation. Not an ideal situation, but certainly humans are still humans and these three framed the nurse as an absolute villain. Would love to see the hosts bring more of an emphasis on the grey that exists in life and how these “bad” things happen. Wish they would bring an objective, “therapist hat” point of view to their show versus the overly done shock and horror they typically react with. Your show is literally about poor decisions therapists have made, are we truly aghast every single episode? Also, their pleas for good reviews in exchange for a 15 min conversation and advertising their own and their spouses’ side hustles is so cringey.”
