Good podcast until 1980’s coverage.
It is pretty obvious that the host and production crew knows what they are doing. The story telling was excellent until the coverage reached the 1980s. At that point the liberal leanings of the production crew and host became more apparent. Many of the pods from that point on mentioned in one way or another the “future “of the Republican party and/or Donald Trump.

Episode 5 repeated refers to Jefferson as having a "relationship" or "affair" with Sally Hemings, who was his teenaged slave. There is a slight reference to "debate" about whether this was consensual. There is no conceivable or justifiable reason to refer to a teenaged...Read full review »

My kids have been obsessed with early American history since falling in love with the musical “Hamilton” and this podcast has helped me keep them interested in learning more! These episodes are well researched and very interesting. Can’t wait for more!!!!
