A brief historical inaccuracy:
During Episode 8’s discussion on the burning of Washington DC, you say that “the dome of the Capitol lay in ruins”. That would be hard, as the first dome wasn’t constructed until after 1824. The Architect of the Capitol’s website states: “At the time, the U.S. Capitol was still being constructed and consisted of only the north and south wings connected by a wooden walkway spanning the area intended for the center building.”
