“Great podcast, a valuable addition to the history hit family. The fact that right-wingers are upset means you’re on the right track. I sometimes begin listening to an episode, which from its title might suggest a rah-rah “USA, USA” topic, but am usually pleased with the nuance brought to bear. Marginalized communities are usually brought into the conversation, which is essential. (Sorry, conservatives.) Don’s enthusiasm is apparent and adds much to the listening. Like some, I do wish he’d let the guests talk much more. Longer episodes would be very welcome!”

“dont ask the audience for good glowing reviews it cheapens you as a host and lowers the quality of your show. produce good content and reviews will follow. content of shows are fine, host not so much.”

“Engaging and interesting stories with a easy to listen to host. My only issue is when talking about politics in my opinion a good show makes it hard to tell which side of the political line the host stands but it is pretty easy to tell when a guest is on a show with similar beliefs.
