But now Maitless and Sopes have decided to break up a winning team and jump ship. I have very much enjoyed your banter and will miss you. “I can’t honestly believe someone as bright as Jon Sopel is as un-opinionated as he comes across in this podcast, so I assume it’s the BBC obsession with “balance” that leads to the tone of uncertainty in this show. Ultimately, the result is very unsatisfactory.
