“Ancient Greece Declassified is an interesting and informative podcast focusing on the history of Greece. I love that the host and the guests are so obviously passionate about the subject. Plus, episodes focus on a variety of aspects of Greek history (including mythology and epics, philosophy and specific philosophers, and historical events). The variety keeps things interesting. The sound quality is very good for the most part (some of the interviews sound as if they are done remotely, so the guests can sometimes be quieter and harder to understand, but I’m not really bothered by that), and the episode lengths are very manageable (long enough to get deep enough into the subject, but not so long you can’t finish it in one sitting).
This podcast was recommended to me by a friend who has degrees in History and Classics; I came into it with only a very basic knowledge base of Ancient Greece. And yet we are both fascinated by it. I highly recommend this podcast, no matter your current level of knowledge on the subject!”
