It resembles the longtime BBC radio/podcast with Melvyn Bragg called “In Our Time.” In this American podcast the well-prepared classicist host interviews an author/professor on some invariably interesting aspect of Homer, Hesiod, Greek tragedy, poetry or history. It’s like being in a good college class, but there’s very little academic jargon. The classical substance, the sources, the controversy if there is one — that’s what the show cares about.”
