“I've been listening to this course on and off again repeatedly for the last three years or so and I never tire of it. I have yet to watch the video, but I love to listen to the course while driving or sitting at the beach. Kagan is exceptional at introducing topics in an approachable way, that can then be explored in more depth later if desired. He gives varying perspectives, acknowledges his own biases, but also speaks with what is obviously an amazingly comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter. If you're even remotely interested in the early history of the Meditteranean then this course is a must.”
