He led Grace Chapel, Lexington, Massachusetts for many years, where he is now Pastor Emertius.Gordon has used his leadership skills to assist influential ministries such as Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, serving as president for three years, and Denver Theological Seminary, in which he was interim president.
