A delightfully thought-provoking podcast!
Annotated is one of the most fascinating and informative podcasts I've ever come across. Judging from its first episode, I can think of few shows that offer such a wonderful combination of information, storytelling, insight, and fun. It is not just about books, but also about the interaction between books, culture, and history. I thought I knew a lot about George Orwell, but I learned much more from episode 1! Fans of This American Life, Invisibilia, and RadioLab will enjoy this, but I think it is far superior to any of those shows. The hosts, Jeff and Rebecca, have a wonderful chemistry, and their storytelling is better than anything I've heard on the aforementioned podcasts. Subscribe and tell your friends!!!Read full review »
