Love the podcast! Is there a booklist somewhere? As I don’t always get a chance to jot down the books when I’m on the go.

Really enjoying the way this podcast is using different subjects and focusing on books that evoke those feelings.

Fantastic content, loving the virtual book club in a time of great need! Some constructive feedback however to improve the listener’s experience: the audio levels are very inconsistent, making it uncomfortable to listen to. I hope this can be addressed for future episodes!

I could listen too these two extraordinary women talk all day every day. The discussions about authors, emotions, story telling, Humanity, history, society, the shadow side of the self, LOVE, connections, mental health and absolutely everything else is quite simply moving. I really enjoyed this show - fast paced, entertaining and light-hearted but not scared to delve deep in to some serious issues. Great to have some new titles to add to my already lengthy ‘to read’ list. Thank you for the recommendations on climate change themed books which offer some hope. I...Read full review »

Great concept and I always love listening to Jamila. But I hope Astrid slows down a bit in future episodes, she talks so quickly it’s a bit hard to listen to

I really like it. I enjoyed the interviews and thought the questions were good. My only issue is one of the hosts talked quite quickly. This made the pacing a bit uneven and sometimes it was difficult to keep up.

Jamila and Astrid say all the things you wanted to say at book club but didn’t. This podcast is good fun, up beat, and full of smarts. Pop on your head phones, pour a wine and settle in.
