Sunday, November 10, 1872. The 39th day of our trip around the world in eighty days. Our ship is sailing into the Taiwan Strait.

Wednesday, November 6, 1872. The 35th day of our trip around the world in eighty days. We are in Hong Kong.

Passepartout was so shocked his jaw dropped.

Thursday, October 31, 1872. The 29th day of our trip around the world in 80 days. Our ocean liner is sailing through the Strait of Malacca.

Passepartout was so shocked he leapt from his chair.

Friday, October 25, 1872. On the 23rd day of our trip around the world in eighty days, we arrived at Calcutta, India.

Passepartout desperately gripped the coupling connecting the locomotive and the carriages, and he pulled with all his might. He was exerting so much strength his chubby face turned crimson, and the blood vessels on his neck popped outward.

The Bombay tiger stood at a distance of more than ten meters away, silently staring at Mr. Fogg and the others.

Wednesday, October 9, 1872, six and a half days after embarking on the trip around the world for eighty days, we came to Suez, Egypt.

The sound of the chugging train accompanied Passepartout’s despairing cries. Choo choo! The train started to move, spitting out white smoke as it chugged into the distance.  The grand voyage had begun.
