#56 Worst Peruvian Ceviche Video EVER!
I love it whenever anyone takes the time to showcase Peruvian culture. It's an amazing country, the food is delicious and I enjoy hearing from people who've been there. That being said, here's my feedback to the producers of #56: A little research goes a long way I always say. I often wonder how someone can create content and not take the time to research their material thoroughly. To start, Peruvian ceviche is spelled with a "C" not an "S". Proper spelling: C-E-V-I-C-H-E! There are many things wrong with this video, here's one: Jalapeño peppers are not from Peru. The chef here did manage to mention that "other" peppers are used in Peru, but the dialog leads one to believe that jalapeños are the norm. -NOT TRUE. the pepers used is called Rocoto and Aji Limo (lee-mo). I have nothing against chefs wanting to explore and coming up with their own take on dishes. If that's what you wish to do, make sure the title of your show indicates that. Do not call it a Peruvian ceviche and then not deliver an authentic recipe. People who don't know, want to trust you. Don't embarrass them by teaching them one thing, then have them go to a home-style restaurant in Peru and discover something totally different. In their eyes, they may very well want to give you the producer of this video the benefit of the doubt and assume that the restaurant they are visiting has no idea what they are doing. To the producers of this show: if you have the funds and resources to produce content like this, please take on the responsibility to do it properly. Thanks for reading my review. Visit Peru. It's an amazing experience!

This podcast world be interesting if it were half-way reliable. As it stands, it's just frustrating. More than half the episodes will not download or play from the product page citing "An Unknown Error Occured (400)." Publishing a podcast can't be that hard - somebody needs to fix this.
