I suspect that Steve Ford’s retirement may have caused the show to end production. Well then. I am willing to host the show with the good doctor. I have 40 years experience as an AFTRA/SAG talent, I have my own ProTools system, and I just retired so I have the time. I await your...Read full review »

I need to hear from people with experience. The other shows are entertaining in a stilted way but I’m at the point where I need practical information and there’s guys are entertaining.

Great podcast. So sorry to hear that it’s been cancelled. I know they are going in a “different direction”, let’s hope it will be as good.

I have an idea. Why don’t you edit out all the pauses in between the sentences so that we can listen to one 16 minute long dialogue as fast as possible? Oh... you’ve done this already. Well done... this turns an informative and probably pleasant podcast into a very unpleasant listening...Read full review »

Info on the raspberry pi was okay. However, there was no substance, no application. Keep in mind, many newbies coming up

Great podcast. Amateur radio operators should know that people WILL NOT put up with bad audio. I have to turn up so loud and then my ears get blown out when you guys laugh or something. This is like live radio.... BROADCAST! Need me to come show you how it’s done? 73

Very informative.

This is great - very topical and focused, with no attempts to create a fake ‘on-air personality’ or whatever as so many podcasters do. Professional, informative, and yet fun. Keep up the good work guys! Also thanks for fixing Joel’s mic. It’s taken a year or more, but I can finally hear him...Read full review »

ALCON I really enjoy the podcast. But I would like more. Each cast is too short. I would like about 30 min. developing more in-depth information. I understand the effort in developing material as I teach computer engineering at our local university. I hope you take this as the complement...Read full review »

Hey the topics aren't always relavant to me, but I always learn something. I tend to listen to each episode a couple of times as I listen while at work and miss something. Whether I like all the topics or not, I give this a 5 star rating to keep it going. Thanks ARRL, Steve and Joel.Read full review »

I'm giving this podcast two thumbs up. Steve (as well as listeners) ask some great questions which Joel answers very succinctly. Both speakers supply some good practical tips, too. Audio learners will gain ham radio knowledge here. Joel's callsign, W1ZR, reminds me of the word...Read full review »

Very well done. I've enjoyed every one of these podcasts and learned something from each. I've heard a lot of opinions on technical areas by many hams, but they're not always believable or consistent. Joel has experience and the background to make his explanations believable. He is...Read full review »

It's nice to sit down in the lounge and have a cup with our hosts, Steve and Joel. Real hams with practical knowledge. Still finding their footing in podcasting (a few too many "mm hmm's, wanders a bit), but doing a great job providing good, solid, and entertaining information. Even...Read full review »

It probably would be just fine if Joel could get rid of the overpowering Bass component in his audio. It makes it very difficult to understand him compared to Steve Ford’s audio. Come on guys, pretend this is a signal report on air. Thanks for your efforts, good luck with your podcast’s. WB6AWO
