I’ve been enjoying this podcast. It’s informative, and don’t mind some of the arrogant statements. It comes with the territory.

¡El chiste se cuenta solo! 😂 Alec Baldwin talking about “fraud” when he has a fraud at home: his wife Hillary —named Grifter of The Year by Time Magazine. If he weren’t that arrogant, classist, pretentious, and now, racist, maybe I’d give this podcast a chance. But he’s already treating...Read full review »

Loved listening to this. Can we expect season 2 Alec?

I really enjoyed listening to this case and getting some insight into the art world and its corruption

Have to laugh because I am coming here to write a review that I see has already been written (so clearly I’m not the only one who was turned off by this!): I enjoyed this podcast…until the last few minutes where Baldwin says something to the effect of “most of the listeners will never purchase...Read full review »

While the first episode is a little slow, by the middle of the story it’s an absolutely fascinating crime scene of fake art. Baldwin is an excellent host and narrator. Thanks!

I recently watched a Netflix documentary about this gallery. I enjoyed it but this doc has way more info and really well done. Only half way through so I cannot speak for the last episode but the low overall rating does not reflect the show but most likely personal issues with Alec Baldwin

Love Alex.

Innumerable ad breaks, all advertising the same podcasts over and again. Loved the podcast but having to skip through so many times in a single episode really ruins the experience.

I have enjoyed every episode of Art Fraud. Alec has an engaging personality, is well informed about the subject and keeps the entire podcast flowing smoothly and consistent until the end which is a feat unto itself. His peppered use of vocabulary and his sense of humor is complimentary to the...Read full review »

I won’t even begin to address anybody who has ulterior motives other than reviewing a podcast, but as for those of you who liked every single bit of it up until the last episode, you’re like a person who eats an entire meal then sends it back. What a bunch of spoiled whiny children. Wonderful...Read full review »

Great that you gave women such a prominent voice! Hahaha just kidding! One woman? ONE? Really, what’s wrong with you? What’s your next podcast going to be called, ‘No Gurlz in Our Clubhous’?

It was a decent podcast until the final episode. I don’t care about Alec Baldwin’s experience and agree with the reviewer who commented on the arrogance of the final remark. The part about Robert Indiana was ok, I guess, but why not just focus on the Knoedler Gallery fraud?

Fascinating and gripping storytelling & I love Alec Baldwin!

A host like Alec Baldwin is risky for any broadcast company. The public is smarter than people realize and he has absolutely worn out his welcome. His wife? Part of the problem for sure.

I enjoyed this show. However, the last episode quote at approximately the 44 minute mark was too much. “Most of the listeners of this show will never purchase a piece of fine art in their lives.” Wow, just wow.

If u have a problem with the narrator get over it. This story is well done and fascinating. You will learn something about art, greed, and a decent con game.

Engrossing stories of art gallery deception and fraud among some of the most avid collectors and their dealers. Seriously addictive!

I tried to get into this podcast but I just couldn’t. Ironic that the show about fraud is hosted by a man who’s wife is nothing but fraudulent.
dertbagg via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/05/22
It’s unbelievable that this man keeps getting work, being as insufferable as he is. He’s violent, homophobic, sexist, and racist. It’s been documented over and over and over again. His voice is like nails on a chalkboard and his forced duck-lips are embarrassing. This could’ve been a good...Read full review »

Well, Alec Baldwin’s wife is a fraud so he’s a subject matter expert!

How in the world can Alec Baldwin narrate this story? He is living the same thing - his wife pretended to be from Spain, he bought the story and talked incessantly about how exotic she was. Then the jig was up when it was revealed she’s from Boston w zero Spanish ancestry. And he’s pointing...Read full review »

I would rather poke my eyes out then listen to this obnoxious blow hard. I find it ironic that Alec Baldwin is discussing fraud of any kind-considering his wife has been proven to be a fraud herself! To appropriate a culture and pretend to be Spanish for over a decade! And Alec spewing “my wife...Read full review »

I almost passed on this after trying the first episode (it’s a slow start) but stuck with it and so glad I did. It starts slow, but it’s building a story and by the third episode I was fully hooked. Good content. Great reporting. But please, please, cut the music bed your producers are putting in nonstop -- it's too much, too distracting, and not even good music at that. Please? But keep up the good work on the story.Read full review »

Having been involved with the Knoedler Gallery and then FreedmanArt and knowing more about it then I should I would have to say the story telling is very accurate . I’m curious how Ann Freedman avoided jail Another of our dealers,Larry Salander got 8 years for his mishegoss.

I saw the show on Netflix, I agree with Alec that Anne thought she was doing the right thing.

I’m in the art trade and have read and seen pretty much everything on this case, so I wondered what new this podcast would have to offer. I enjoyed some of the information in the first episode but the narrator’s intonation detracted from the quality content.
