“I really enjoy this podcast - Peg and her daughter interact so sweetly with each other, you can tell they have a close relationship; and it's good to hear these organic conversations that often lead to some deeper insights about being a yoga practitioner in our modern, crazy world; you realize these senior teachers are just living their lives, trying to do the best they can - like most of us; and that lifelong practice does have an impact on wellbeing and wisdom, too. I would love to hear more interviews of older non-authorized Ashtanga teachers and/or second generation teachers (i.e. students of the senior teachers in the community) that is, interviews of teachers who have quietly worked in the trenches teaching for a long time. There's a lot of wisdom there, and maybe even some healthy iconoclasm, too; it would be good to hear these folks' perspective about Ashtanga teaching and practice, as it is a not considered or valued within our small worldwide community of Ashtanga that tends to center the voices of a handful of well-known teachers.”Read full review »
