Great podcast. Very informative. Needs to be made into a documentary on TV.

The shows are all really good. I just wish more than anything that the producers of this would organize the different seasons by actually separating them and put all of the episodes of each season and order, etc. because it is very very hard to navigate through t the shows episodes since they’re...Read full review »

The stories are alway compelling, thoroughly researched and well told. There’s just one thing though. The house-keeping on the app is a bit lacking. Episodes in the wrong order, new seasons staying with the front cover of the last season or even the season before that. I know it’s not a...Read full review »

This podcast promises a lot but simply doesn’t deliver. It’s an average, lightweight listen that draws things out unnecessarily and involves a lot of repetition. Makes promises and doesn’t deliver. There are a lot of better options out there.

I love this podcast: interesting topics, well researched and presented, but the episodes are released together, not classified by season, only as episode 2, 3 etc so my podcast app plays in random sequences. Don’t have this issue with others podcasts. Can you classify them differently please?

Assume Nothing reminds me that Northern Ireland has world-class journalists, broadcasters and producers. I listen to podcast from all over the world and this is one of the best.

As a victim of Ruth Ellen Logan, or “Ruth Rutherford”, this was a difficult listen, but it compounded the feeling that we were all preyed upon in the most vulnerable of states in the most horrendous of ways. Congratulations to this BBC team who have handled the case with such respect. Please...Read full review »

Having listened to 2 of the series in a week I can honestly say that this is the best podcast I have ever listened to. The standard of the writing, unbiased delivery of the facts, and such emotional stories have moved me to tears. Do yourself a favour and give this the time it so richly deserves.

I have just finished listening to The Last Request in the Assume Nothing series. The last episode is incredibly moving and I binged the whole series. I listened to a shorter version of this on radio 4 but this longer version is much much more powerful

My experience of many true crime podcasts is that they desperately need a ruthless edit. Sometimes after listening to 10/ half hour episodes I thought it could easily be condensed into a single hour episode. This is not the case with the stories told by this team. Well paced, never...Read full review »

I discovered this podcast on BBC Sounds, and it proceeded like a thriller. The combination of documentary and dramatisation worked very well. Congratulations to all involved.

I have really enjoyed this series - and have been on a roller coaster of “ did he, didn’t he?” Well done to Gordy and Ophelia for their painstaking research in the face of illness and COVID. I can’t wait to find our about the boy in the burning car.

I came into this podcast after only four episodes were released, and wrongly believed this was an older podcast that was completed. I prefer to binge podcasts as I walk my dog an hour each day, not as they are released weekly. I will have to revisit after all have dropped.
