“Drives me crazy that they jump into background information without letting us know what the event is. This organizational choice leaves the listener out of a lot of interesting connections. It feels like an inside joke that the listener is not in on for half an hour. This would be a lot more interesting if scattered throughout, or just begun after an outright and explicit introduction. Think about your audience!”
