Affectionately known around our house as “Our Colly…” never fails to deliver an interview that gets you truly into the head of the guest. Just listened to the Danny McNamara interview with a massive smile on my face. It’s added a new depth to their music. I saw them in The Bowery Ballroom in New...Read full review »

One of my weekly go to podcasts. Colin always asks questions which make for interesting conversations. Meaning you come away learning so much more about the person even though you might of heard them being interviewed many times before.

Colin thank you for the Sharleen Spiteri interview, it was one of the best I’ve heard and shows why she is so entertaining when performing live, and your interviewing is great especially when you are in the same room as the person. Please keep giving us more. A. McAdam

Colin, you are a legend! The way you chat not just question is clearly a learned skill. I have just listened to the episode with Tom from Keane and loved every second. Deep, silly, incisive, and emotional, everyone should be listening to midnight meets!

Imagine the feeling of getting home from a hard days graft at work and slipping into a pair of comfy slippers (if any has them these days). Well, that’s the feeling Colin Murray achieves with Midnight Meets. He’s a skilful conversationalist, very quick witted, and as down to earth as you’d like...Read full review »

Absolutely love this podcast, very new to it so catching up but I have to say Colin Murray interview are so good, the level of knowledge about his guest is unreal, it really is like he has been friends with them for years, I honestly think he make a genuine connection with his guests. Colin Murray has a special talent for asking questions that, when you hear them, you think I never thought of that BUT I really want to know the answer. One of my go-to listens now & I no longer look at who is being interviewed, as I know I'll learn something, because it's Colin at...Read full review »

I love that the interviews are relaxed and informal, it feels like a conversation not a scripted list of questions.

Fantastic work Colin. As a Northern Ireland lad living in Canada your podcasts are a great way to stay up to date with the craic. Really enjoyed the Jonathan Rea, Keith Gillespie, Michael O’Neill and Chris Wilder ones.

This is the perfect mixture of relaxed interviewing style and interesting guests. I look forward to it landing each week as it’s an opportunity to get into the minds, memories and experiences of some pretty impressive people.

Is it just me or has the Sparks episode been replaced by Five Live Boxing? Anyone know how to fix this?

Colin Murray is an exceptional documentarian. His ability to engage the disparate subjects of his interviews and draw out some of the most raw and emotional subjects with tact, humility, and compassion leads to some of the most inspiring of connective moments between interviewee and audience....Read full review »

Colin Murray has an ability to draw you into his guest’s world and make them the star of the interview and on another programme theme make you laugh as he does in Fighting Talk. Long may he have a platform.

Colin seems to put all his interviewees at ease so well that it is like listening to 2 friends chatting and it’s as if the guests relax and open up rather than just be there to plug their latest project

I don’t particularly like Colin Murray & his “matey” approach to his guests is a bit much , always seems like he is trying too hard to be liked. Apart from that a good listen

Very varied guests absolutely consistent in being awesome. Colin Murray has been the saviour of lockdown through this and other podcasts.

No one interviews better than Colin Murray he’s just brilliant listener and broadcaster.

I’ve said it before, how Colin can have such a friendly and relaxed chat with everyone is beyond me. His knowledge and research even stuns the guests sometimes. My latest listen with Johnny Vegas sums it up. Johnny was happy to talk and like Colin I too couldn’t believe that the time was up so...Read full review »

So Colin starts with asking Billy about Donald Trump. Why.? What did he honestly think Billy’s opinion would be. And who cares anyway. Trump is gone so don’t be lazy asking questions we all know what the answer will be. Billy’s man of the people tosh is exposed when stating everyone at school...Read full review »
