PSP 325: OCD Recovery and Maintenance with Shaun Flores
Listen now
Description
Shaun Flores was only a couple of years into his own struggle with OCD when he became an OCD advocate. He quickly became a stronger messenger of hope through his OCD awareness work.  Recently I had Shaun back on the AT Parenting Survival podcast to discuss how his OCD recovery is going, what he does to maintain progress and how the perception of recovery can be part of a bigger issue.  As Shaun discussed his recovery it became apparent how OCD decimated his financial stability, derailed his career path and left him in debt. Despite those issues, Shaun continued to be a shining light for others.  I have created a Go Fund Me account to show Shaun how much the OCD community appreciates him and all the work he has done. The funds will help Shaun find that stable grounding, cover expenses related to his upcoming knee surgery and help him claw out of the financial hole OCD put him in.  🌸 Any amount will show Shaun he is valued.
