What does it mean to be a faithful man? And why does it even matter? In our September 2023 Ironworks study, we look at the charge to be faithful in 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 and seek to understand why it matters now and in eternity, see what being a successful steward looks like, and learn how faithfulness can manifest in our lives as men.

After seeing the atrocities that were taking place in the Temple, Jesus deals with the situation in John 2:13-22 by driving the money changers away, overturning tables, and issuing commands to remove what did not belong. In our May 2023 Ironworks study, we look at Jesus’ intense reaction and see how it gives us an example of being angry for the right reasons, how to call out sin appropriately, and why it is crucial to keep our reactions balanced and under control.

Moses petitions Pharaoh for permission to leave Egypt in Exodus 8-10, but Pharaoh will not consent and proposes a series of compromises. In our February 2023 Ironworks study, we look at these compromises, see how men are asked to make similar concessions today, and learn how we should instead stand firm in what God has called us to do.

The men in Ezra 9:1-3 failed to separate themselves from the bad behavior of the surrounding nations and were subsequently caught up in sin, far from God, and failing as spiritual leaders. In our January 2023 Ironworks study, we see what it means to be set apart, how we can pursue radical holiness, and how to start making strides toward being the men that God has called us to be.
