Pump your Brakes Strava
I will adjust my rating, once its fixed, but seriously, you can't have a person read from a script. If people are going to read from a script, then simply publish the script and send a link to the article. There is a difference between the written word and a conversation. Reading from a script is wooden and lifeless. If you have a banked ten of these lessons in reading, scrap them. I like what you are going after, and you do have something here, but you have to ditch the Reading Rainbow format. **2-26-2019 unsubscribed. I guess what is going on is that strava pays someone to write a script, that script is then sent to the young woman with strict instructions of, "do not go off script." If the producer(s) have ever taken a public speaking class, the basics are that as the speaker, you know the material, you don't need a script. The spoken word should come off as organic and in the moment. This is wooden and drained of life, not really the spirit of active people. If you go to a meeting, and someone begins to read from notes, all the listeners tune out. Throw away the script.Read full review »

Excellent content in a concise timeframe. Great how the athletes tell their own stories which are really captivating.

Lots of inspirational stories that really put things into perspective. Would like to see some more technical podcasts to improve physical performance.

I wanted to love this podcast but it feels a bit like a low budget public TV broadcast. Not organic at all and extremely scripted by the host!
