This podcast is clearly a playground for Slate associates who wouldn't have gotten a radio conversation gig otherwise. I am in the same boat as many other reviewers. I enjoyed the discussion on this podcast, but finally gave up because I couldn't take Katy Waldman's vocal fry any longer. It really is a shame that her vocal mannerisms make any otherwise worthy show unlistenable for many.Read full review »
