Yugo / Prius
I just wanted to write in and say I enjoy the Podcast. I feel your conversations are a step above what is typically presented in written automotive journalism (even your own!). I particularly like how you slice and dice the market and describe engineering challenges the industry faces (from human factors to emerging solutions) On the latest podcast, I REALLY enjoyed the Yugo segment. For "not being a car guy" your guest was knowledgeable and savoy about the automotive industry. The conversation was fascinating and I really enjoyed it. Additionally, I rent cars weekly for my job, so I like to play the at-home game of auto reviews. Having just rented a 2010 Prius, I felt the comments were SPOT ON. Having sampled dozens of cars in multiple iterations, I'm always looking for journalists whose feelings match my own rather than the manufacturer's brochures- they rarely do. The comments on the laggy throttle, braking characteristics, and general notions of the car were as I experienced. Now If one of you would just have the balls to say the Cobalt's handling dynamics are pretty darn good and the 350z isn't all that fun to drive around town as the engine lacks responsiveness, you'd have my full trust! Keep up the good work.Read full review »

If we were kings for a day what we would do with car development and design. The only difference is it seems like you all know what you are talking about about,...Read full review »

I'm a long-time listener, and I've been meaning to submit a review for a while. If you're into cars, you're doing yourself a disservice if you're not tuning in. Sure, the three hosts may not always be entirely organized or on-topic - but neither are my friends when we sit...Read full review »
