“If you care about aerospace tech, business, or policy, this is an _amazing_ podcast.
But, as everyone has mentioned, the audio is terrible. It's not unintelligible, just distractingly bad. Interviews are frequently over the phone and rather than record both sides locally and mix later or use a high quality service, it sounds like someone just lays a mic next to a polycom (or cellphone on speaker). Levels are bad, people are mic'd badly, etc.
I mean, I get it; these people are busy and being sound engineers (or even being live talent) is _not_ their day job and we're lucky to get these insights at all. Especially the remote guest interviews, I can see them not having a real mic, and/or being unwilling to put podcast software on their phone/machine.
