I couldn’t get past the hypocrisy of the idea of “honouring nature’s spirit” by exploiting nature’s creatures. Wool and egg industry is brutal. If Baba Yaga is all seeing, she won’t be pleased by such offering.

I love listening to Madam Pamita talk about Baba Yaga and Ukrainian magick. She’s so knowledgeable and makes it easy to understand. Learning about the magickal practices of other cultures is fascinating. And Madame Pamita is so warm and fun.

I am ethically Ukrainian and Polish but didn’t grow up knowing any traditional customs and practices. I love this podcast! I’ve learned so much. It means a lot to have this resource. Madame Pamita does such a great job presenting each topic. I look forward to each new episode.

This is one of my favourite magical podcasts. Madame Pamita shares such interesting and well-researched information. I tune in whenever there is a new podcast and I recommend this to anyone I know interested in this subject.

I’m not saying this podcast generalizes all Slavic culture but the host doesn’t reference much for their research or materials so it’s hard to tell the source culture or tradition. Entertaining content but I can’t really do much with this lack of references or even first hand accounts.

I have now listened to several episodes, and I would like to make some (hopefully at least somewhat) helpful comments. First, I am a huge fan of creators promoting a way listeners can find their other content and help support them. But self-promo should not be 1/3 of the content. Please do not...Read full review »

I’m so glad that Madame Pamita started this podcast because there aren’t a lot of podcasts about Slavic folklore. The episodes are really interesting and I’ve learned a lot from them. I appreciate that she also lists what other Slavic countries call the different spirits. My ancestry is Polish so...Read full review »
