“A rare podcast that’s both challenging and incredibly comforting at the same time.
I listen to Backlisted in bed, when I’m running, when I’m travelling. And if I’m ever feeling a little bit down, nothing perks me up like a few smart, warm, ridiculously enthusiastic people gathered round microphones sharing their love for great books.
Better yet, Backlisted has pointed me in the direction of some wonderful discoveries which I know I’m going to be reading on repeat for years to come.
Huge thanks to John, Andy and everyone else who’s contributed - and continue to contribute - to what is now my favourite podcast, alongside the also magnificent ‘Kermode”
