A comforting, charming, erudite gem
A friend introduced me to this podcast and it’s so lovely. I can’t claim to be anywhere near the level of erudite reading these folk attain but, like the best podcasts, it doesn’t matter. The choices are eclectic (from coffee table books and their delights to fungus the bogeyman and Anne Sexton), the voices of John Mitchinson and Andy Miller are rich and beautiful- total bedtime stories voices. Simply lovely

This is one of the best podcasts out there. It really doesn't matter what books they discuss (although they do pick wonderful books) but how they talk about writing and reading which is so insightful. I am a better reader for having listened to Backlisted.Read full review »

I'm a fan of book related podcasts and found The Backlisted Podcast quite by chance; I really enjoy it - interesting, passionate conversations about books and reading. I don't know very much about the hosts, but the whole thing is really quite charming and entertaining.Read full review »
