“Outstanding backpacking pod! Countless enthralling wilderness stories packed with sage advice from seasoned hikers with wonderful and eclectic personalities. The hosts Chaunce and Zach do a tremendous job of steering conversations in the right direction, and they’re so good at honing in on questions that the listeners want to hear. Every time I hear Chaunce say, ‘ok let’s say you’re a first time thru hiker thinking of hiking the AT next year. what would you do if…’, I always smile and turn the pod to full volume. Shoutout to Weezer, Fireball, Dirty A, Professor, and the rest of the wonderful guests that make this podcast so fun to listen to. AND thanks for all the fomo to convince me to hike the PCT next year - I would not have even considered it without y'all.
