I’m so happy you have brought a form of the show back to life. I’ve loved The Vinyl Cafe since its inception and saw one live show in Kingston many years ago.
My dad was in hospital in Peterborough before Christmas one year and we kept his spirits up by reading Dave cooks the Turkey. All the nurses were wondering why we were laughing hysterically in his room!
Can I suggest that you bring back the Arthur Awards? They were so wonderful and there isn’t anything like them that I know of that have replaced them since Stuart died. Maybe call them the Arthur McLean Awards, in honour of both amazing - one fictitious- beings who brought so much joy to Canadians. I even volunteer to read the submissions and be on the panel to decide who receives an Arthur McLean.
