Morally complex and gripping
I'm not altogether sure how I feel about the ethics of the way in which this is presented - using the intimate recordings of a woman who is not there to consent - but I can't deny its power. The players in this story defy easy classification, all being both villain and victim to some degree. Listening is the kind of experience that wil stay with you, generate discussion and be really difficult to wrestle with in your brain. As someone who struggles with many of the same traits as Jannair, this really hit me in my core. It was scary and painful to recognise myself in someone who could do what she did, but the presentation in the podcast and additional insights were also really valuable. While I don't necessarily agree with the use of her voice, I commend the team behind the show for the empathy and understanding they show towards someone who was suffering a great deal, even after her heinous acts. It's not an easy listen, but it is a rewarding one.Read full review »

I’m sorry but Mark was a total cheating dirtbag. He destroyed that woman. Too bad she didn’t get him instead!! I’m kidding but really that woman knew he was married and he was a total cheater and still hung out with his wife, leading her on. I hope she does haunt him forever!!!

Wow! What a great story. The flow of this is fantastic. I binged it in one day so far while cleaning. I am now looking into “finding another gem”
