“I enjoy the athletic and all the quality content, including some new podcasts I've discovered. I'd been listening on the mobile app and while the UX has improved there's just not enough content! Regardless of the content I want to have one app for all my podcasts..Which is why I was excited to see The Athletic was available on Apple Podcasts! Until today when I was 28mins deep into an episode of Baggs and Brisbee when it cuts off and they say "for more content from this episode visit theatheletic.com." As a paying customer of The Athletic I am disappointed in your bait & switch tactics in an attempt to acquire new customers. Be all in with your content on all platforms or don't have it available at all. This partial episode BS is a terrible experience and isn't going to work...Someone should remind The Athletic execs that it costs 5x-25x more to acquire new customers than it does to retain existing ones.”Read full review »
