I discovered yesterday and have already finished the first season while travelling across the UK on trains. Absolutely addictive and the girls are so funny. Great show!

White women complaining quite offensively about language barriers and pedicures. Not for me.

I love the idea of this podcast and I do take inspiration from it for what to read and I really enjoy the majority. However, sometimes the podcast gets really sidetracked and often one of the presenters (Lucy) starts talking about something which doesn’t end up being relevant and it can’t be tied...Read full review »

Before I heard about Banging Book Club, I never really thought about podcasts. Now I’m addicted. They give an insight to books that I may have read, but not fully understood, in an entertaining and friendly way. Think the rights to BBC should be taken by them and rebranded to Banging Book Club...Read full review »

So fun. I need to get my hands on the boy Lolita book. Boyfriends episode was great too. Also Lena DO STUPID QUESTIONS WITH LENA AGAIN

Listen everyone I’ve listened to ALL THE EPISODES of this podcast and I’ve read about two books. Not because I don’t want to read them but because they’re hard to get at my local bookshop. Anyway...if listening to all the eps even though I don’t read the books is not proof of how good this pod is...Read full review »

I love this podcast so much! I listen to it during my lonely hours in the art department and I have to stifle my laughter all the time. It got me through my 15 hour exam, so would 100% recommend! All three hosts are lovely, and their commentary is interesting and thoroughly enjoyable, even if...Read full review »

A feminist book club? Wonderful! I love their opinions and the book choices.

Love the podcast especially because i feel that these are important books and topics that should be discussed. Have you ever thought about bringing guest on who read a book with you for a month? For example sometimes you read books discussing sexuality or gender but (from my understanding forgive...Read full review »

I often haven't read the book these amazing women cover each episode and still I am thoroughly entertained. I think I enjoy the 'conversation amongst friends' nature of the show and feel like Lena, Hannah, and Lucy are my friends. Keep up the great work folks!

Sometimes I get uncomfortable and have to switch off when you start trying to talk about topics you just don’t understand - I’m trans and spend a lot of time discussing and consuming trans politics for my job so I don’t need three cis people explaining things to me (you do all do a decent job...Read full review »

I love the discussions about the diverse books selection, from non-fiction to Young Adult but always with an emphasis on sex, gender and feminism. If you like to know or read more about these things, this is definitely for you!

Banging Book Club is everything I could’ve ever wanted in a podcast. Love the books, love the discourse, love the little pockets of banter in between – new eps are always highlights of the day in question, and repeat listens are just as good. Amazing!

I absolutely love this podcast! I’ve listened to every episode at least twice, bought most of the books and am absolutely obsessed!

I don’t often read the books but I still love to listen to these ladies! Each one is both funny and interesting. I always finish feeling happier and slightly smarter than I started (I don’t study English anymore so I’m really out of touch with critical analysis)

A genuinely funny and articulate podcast. The books chosen are normally not ones that seem over-hyped and they all offer unique perspectives.

Such funny ladies with so much to say!!! I love how insightful they are and how they can make education and learning fun. Leena, Hannah, and Lucy are lots of fun to listen to, and I think they are great people! I have found myself counting the days to the next episode. Honestly, I don´t even read the books, I just come here to stay woke and have a laugh.

The only bad thing about this podcast is that I love the books they recommend so much and read them too fast, than I have to wait for what feels like an eternity for the next episode!
Student_95 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 11/13/17
Enjoy the wide variety of books the girls read and how they discuss them eloquently but still with a lot of fun. It's cool that they also mix fiction and non-fiction. Diversity is a huge topic and one we can all learn about more.

The premise of this podcast greatly intrigued me and seemed like something I would adore. These girls are absolute bangers. Highly entertaining, always making me laugh my ass off (still not over Leena's punny name for her potential future child - Gender Norms), super smart and charming.
