Really great
This podcast has officially been added to my carefully growing collection. I find it full of the general and honest debate of ideas I wish the world had more of. Yes the institution itself is considered of a more conservative perspective but I believe that the hosts are excellent in their broad topical knowledge and application and not just one sided political Jargon. I would also like to offer a suggestion for the policy suggestion segment. Should the church and religious tax exemption continue or religious organizations in their modern form be subjected to federal taxes? I have heard the John Marshal quote that “the power to tax is the power to destroy”, but it is not hard to arrive at the conclusion that much of today’s social discord has arrived as a result of a general focus of America’s church focus on business profit rather than the state of culture and the lives of average people. A tax could potentially force the decentralization and culmination of stagnant wealth within religious bodies. Any way thanks again for great content, and I plan on looking into the summer honors program.

More reviews of Banter: An AEI Podcast
These guys know how to hit the heavy AND light topics of the day with enough seriousness and humor to make the podcast fun and engaging. You can tell they enjoy making these podcasts, which always translates well to listeners. Good variety of topics and hosts. Keep it up, Banter!

The Kim Strassel episode was enough to get me to leave a review. It consistently seems like these guys live in a mirror universe but this conversation was outrageous. There was no introspection, no pushing back, and mockery of stuff they don’t even pretend to understand.

Nobody mentions the elephant in the room of today’s America: atheism. We can’t even talk about God in mainstream politics let alone this one little podcast!
