“Long time listener love the show. My main concern with expanding the playoff is the risk of the "best team" not winning. The national champion every year is typically seen as the best team of the year, while basketball typically its whoever gets hot at the end. Does this discount the season as a whole?
Also, if the playoff expands would this get rid of the need for out of conference games? I'm a Clemson fan and them playing Scar and ND/Another SEC team is awesome. Would the playoff cut back on this?
