Awesome Pod
Been listening to Bud for a while and first time listening to Barton, both of you guys are fantastic. On your position U series, Wisconsin & Michigan rated in the top 4 for edge players. Iowa has also had success recruiting lower rated players at OL/TE. Last year on the Move The Sticks' pod, Tony Romo's high school basketball coach came on and mentioned that the Northern kids are often not as heralded but can sometimes be more athletic/have a wider base of skills because it's too cold to play football 365 days a year, so many of them play basketball, wrestle or other sports. Matt Rhule and others have emphasized how much they prefer 2 sport athletes. You guys also mention two sport athletes or multi-position HS players. Do you think there's something to this idea in outperforming expectations for the position U stuff and records in general? Or do you think ratings are now better able to capture athleticism/diverse bases of skills.Read full review »

Long time Nolecast listener here who was actually in the market for a National CFB podcast so Bud and Barton starting this is awesome. Question: what are some non conference home and homes series you’d like to see in the future? For me it’s FSU and Auburn
