Great listen with interesting guests
I love this podcast. Host Justin McGuire is equal parts knowledgeable and passionate about baseball and the myriad books written about it. You can practically feel his excitement about the sport in every show, and it's contagious - he and his interview subjects quickly sound like old buddies chopping it up not just about a specific book, but about baseball in general and its culture and history. Every episode leaves me wanting to read the book that was discussed that day, and I find myself on Amazon looking for copies before the podcast is even over. The authors McGuire talks to are engaging and interesting and always give a unique perspective on some aspect of baseball history. I highly recommend this podcast and look forward to expanding my baseball library because of it.Read full review »
