Good. Potentially great. But not there yet.
I really like the podcast and the content, but the audio quality is frustratingly inconsistent. Part of that is because the guests are generally calling in over the phone (Justin, services such as Squadcast.fm and Riverside.fm provide far better ways to record quality audio for your interviews, and your guests can still do it all over their phone). But even beyond that, the volume tends to be inconsistent, with the host being at one volume, but the volume of the guest at times being low enough that it can be difficult to hear and understand them (resulting in the need to 'ride the volume knob'), sometimes with the volume of the music being overpowering. Yes, I understand that these are "only" technical and production issues, but technical and production issues are still issues. Hopefully the host and his production people can raise the level of the technical aspects of this podcast because THAT is really the only thing keeping this show from being a solid, and unquestioned 5-star show.Read full review »

I listen to multiple sports podcasts focusing primarliy on Baseball and College Football. This podcast has become a must listen, as I enjoy reading about the glorious game of baseball. Justin asks informed questions and you can obviously tell he is passionate about baseball and books.
