Pick up game mindset
Paul, very interesting talk with John Ney..........I am 65 but i grew up on the concrete school yards of Brooklyn.......There were no such thing a far as i know of a travel team...Ha..........I had no one to guide me in playing ball.....I just watched and copy and pasted........I did my best to act as if i was one of the best kids in the school yard......If a kid wants to enjoy baseball he needs a quality coach.....Too many kids give up because of looking bad and being called out as a klutz..........No kid wanted to be picked last.....I still consider myself to be an athlete and the high point of my baseball life was being a bench player and when i say bench player i mean only being used for intersquad games in the early 70's at Stony Brook under Rick Smoliak................Love listening to conversations from coaches and how they transform lives.......Thanks.......LarryRead full review »
