Great podcast for those who enjoy baseball's past
This is a very well done and formatted podcast. It is very informative and can be understood by even those who don't know some baseball terminology (like ERA for Earned Run Average), because he doesn't use the acronyms but pronounces the full term. For those who want to learn a few terms the baseball dictionary is helpful. If you want to learn about how to play or understand baseball, or if you want news of current players/trades/teams/games etc. it is not here. It is for those who want to learn about the people and places of baseball's past. If you like this podcast you should try Just Baseball Podcast. Great job, Bob. Keep up the good work.Read full review »

This is an excellent resource ... as a longtime sportswriter, I appreciate the information provided, though Wright's "reading the script" was somewhat bland ... needs to be a little more lively ....

great podcast, I listen every week. I especially like the pre-war material of lesser known players, as I do not know about many of those. mark
