The No. 1 overall pick from last year's MLB Draft just completed his sixth big league start and currently has landed with a 2.46 ERA, striking out 46 in 33 1/3 innings. He has also already thrown almost double the number of 100 mph pitches (60) than any other pitcher in baseball. Bradfo sat down with Pirates GM Ben Cherington to reflect on the months leading up to picking Skenes last year and the surprising story of how they viewed the big righty early in the process.
