content is ok, sound quality is horrible
I actually don't think Peter Pascarelli (sp?) is so bad - the information is just as good as it was with Alan Schwarz. Yeah he's a little dry, but he's got kind of a crotchety-old-guy appeal. BUT, this podcast is very hard to listen to because the sound quality is horrible. It sounds like they record it on a wet tape deck from the 1980s and upload it at 2 kbps. Very strange since ESPN TV typically has such slick production, you'd think they could do better at this.Read full review »

Evidentally, aspiring ESPN producers cut their teeth on free podcasts. How else to explain the "time to look into the future...The Crystal Ball" segment transition? The information and analysis in this podcast are first rate. It's unfortunate that the transitions are so awkward.Read full review »
