Excellent Shows Lately!
A unique voice in movie podcasts. Instead of segmented discussions of particular films, this show is a free-flowing conversation between fellow movie lovers. To be sure, I like those other shows, but this is something different, which is also great. There's no way you'll agree with everything they say (e.g. - That both "Fight Club" and "American Beauty" aren't AS great as some people think is not the same thing as an argument stating that they're bad, c'mon guys!). But that's sortof the point. It's valuable to hear other film lovers talk about film topics in a respectful, intelligent way. Also, they tend to have fantastic guests from the LA comedy scene. The shows lately with Josh Fadem and Paul F. Thompkins were both very good. Full disclosure, I have been on the show, I'm not trying to pad the stats or anything, but this is a very good show that I make sure to listen to every week.Read full review »

A very listenable show starting from...Read full review »
