“If you want to hear a couple of guys talk about how they went to film school, and how a movie you like isnt good because you just haven't seen enough to realize it's bad, then listen on. For example....Fight Club is only good if your a teen who has no clue.....the dragon pic Reign of Fire is however one of their favorites, just cause they like it....so to sum up.....they like what they like, even if it's crap because they paid someone to tell them how to think..... I will say that one of them thinks jaws is the best movie eve in their episode about their favorite films..... cool.... the others list was full of movies that they tell you to like in film school, so he just regurgitated this list as his own.... you'll also hear about how they will or won't see movies based on the marketing hype....even if it looks like a great movie and gets great reviews( Social Network), the idea that everyone likes a film is enough for these snobs to pass on a film and prejudge it( the one eventually saw it and really enjoyed it....). In fact one of the reasons they hate Fight Club is because of the people who like it, not just the film itself( same for Nightmare before christmas). So please, read this and then check out Doug loves movies..... He' s a funnier host with better guests from the comic world then these two get....and he isn't full of himself....”Read full review »
