Even gets my kids interested
I was originally disappointed when Inside Science replaced Material World as the BBC’s Radio 4 science program, but not for long. Inside Science is brilliant, and Adam Rutherford has just the right mix of enthusiasm, wit and scientific rigour to bring to life each of the topics. If I want my children to hear about some interesting breakthrough I play them the section from this, and they are always impressed. Wish I could say the same when I tried to explain things...

I'm saddened that this is what replaced the splendid "Material World" podcast with Quentin Cooper. "Inside Science" lacks the appropriate amount of puns and made me fall asleep when I listened to it in the evening. That never happened with Cooper's science program....Read full review »
