“7/30/22 Excellent podcast. I have been listening to them all. Joe D, Smitty and Brian are my go-to guys when I need expert advice. I am a certified CPPS trainer. Please post links in timestamp of podcast for best way to reach Smitty, Brian and Joe D. Links for CPPS, Diesel Crew and Brian’s company link. Also instagram and Facebook accounts. Best way to reach you? One question for next show: review of C Wilson Meloncelli’s Breathing in-flow program. Is it worth $15? Also, talk little bit about CPPS Masters program! Thanks Brad Laska, CPPS Trainer 6/9/24 Episode 116 helpful. Here’s my two cents: once you have decided 100% on a career change/company, make sure you connect with the right people. What I have discovered is that people who are successful in a given field tend to forget the bare essentials for launching a business because this no longer applies to them. Get your hands on resources/books that start you out on square one that do not provide a cookie cutter approach to leads, referrals, social media etc. Be aware that any field including fitness has unique nuances.
Episode 118: Agree w/ Smitty on wishing females would be less sensitive w/ progress of their training. I would argue same applies w/ boys and men in general. The fitness industry in general, in my opinion, gets too carried away w/ raw numbers for the big lifts and challenges. Wish more emphasis was placed on competing w/ yourself. Bottom line: Are you better today than yesterday as a result of your training? Can you move better? Anyway on providing transcripts for shows? So many good takeaways. Brad Laska”
