Torn
I’m torn about this podcast. I love the concept and was excited to listen to interesting/unusual tidbits about historical figures. While I get these people were dictators, and horrible people, I do not believe the mocking, childish and obnoxious taunting is necessary. Not to mention the host and his guests are not funny. Their crude “humor” is also directed toward victims and those impacted by the actions of these dictators. I hope it gets better (though I doubt it) because I have learned new things and enjoy the meat of the content, just wish is was without all the extra unnecessary commentary. The host and his guests need to learn the delicate balance of appropriate humor with delivery of this type of content; there are podcasters out there who manage to do it successfully.
