Wasted potential
“The man uses sentences”, spoken by the host, was my cutting off point for both the Dr. Phil episode and this podcast. I should be the target demographic for this podcast, interested in deeper dives of topics like crime and psychology, and this show has such potential that it never reaches. The main host is decent, certainly demonstrating that he has done a fair amount of research, but it’s just too much blathering. It’s too many head scratching opinions by guests whose schtick is comedy. Too many buzzwords like “grift” being thrown around incorrectly. Here’s some advice: if your audience is largely looking for investigative type content on the advertised topic, then bring on guests who can add to the dialogue.

My new addiction. I hope listeners get the humor, it’s so hilariously satisfying to hear the hosts bring these lofty dictator monsters crashing back down to earth. Plenty of genuine laughs out loud and also mega interesting. Yes yes yes.
