Great content, but…
I listened to this without seeing the TV episodes. Carter has so much knowledge and credibility. The guests were great. The topics were well chosen. But this really isn’t a podcast. It’s a PR teaser for a show I’ll never watch. Carter is just stiffly reading the script. You only scratched the surface on worthy topics. You could have done separate full episodes on women, race, and more. Deeper history. Even more on process. Dunno how large of an audience would geek out for deep dive into late night. But I’d listen

A well-produced and compelling insight into the world of US late night TV. I’m a Brit but loved watching Letterman and Leno back in the day so this is great. It’s not just nostalgia though, touching in current shows too.
